On Demand Interpretation Services
25 million people across the United States have limited proficiency in English (LEP) and need the use of an interpreter in the courts. In 2011 Courts became required to provide and pay for interpreter/ASL services to comply with Department Of Justice (DOJ) and America Disability Act (ADA) guidelines.
ODIS provides on demand certified trained interpreters, via remote secure videoconferencing for courts and their public support entities in 170 languages and American sign language (ASL).
ODIS eliminates the language barrier to the American justice system by helping the courts meet demand, eliminate inefficiencies and reduce costs. ODIS’s services help courts comply with mandatory DOJ, constitutional requirements for Limited English Proficient (LEP) litigants.
